This Privacy Policy explains how Veritas Draft ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Service.

B) Customer Content

• documents and text you upload,
• prompts you submit,
• workspace notes and metadata,
• generated Outputs stored in your workspace.

C) Usage and Device Data

• log data (IP address, device type, browser),
• usage events (feature interactions, performance metrics),
• error reports and diagnostics.

D) Support Communications

• messages and attachments you send to support.

3) How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide, operate, and improve the Service,
• authenticate users and administer accounts,
• process documents and generate Outputs,
• maintain security, prevent fraud, and enforce Terms,
• provide support and communicate with you,
• comply with legal obligations.

4) AI Processing and Model Providers

When you submit Customer Content for analysis, we process it to generate Outputs. This may include transmitting relevant portions of Customer Content to AI inference providers as subprocessors.

We do not sell Customer Content. We do not use Customer Content to advertise to you.

Training. Our intent is to keep Customer Content private and use it only to provide the Service. If we use third-party AI providers, we contractually require protections consistent with this Privacy Policy where available.

5) How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Service, including:

• Subprocessors (hosting, database, AI inference, email delivery, error monitoring),
• Payment processing (for billing),
• Legal compliance (court orders, lawful requests),
• Business transfers (merger/acquisition; subject to confidentiality protections).

A list of subprocessors may be provided upon request.

6) Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to:

• provide the Service,
• meet legal, accounting, and security requirements.

Typical retention:

• Account data: retained while account is active.
• Customer Content: retained until deleted by user, or per plan retention settings.
• Logs/security events: retained for 30–180 days.
• Billing records: retained for legally required periods.
